REFORM UK Shadow Minister for Food, Farming and Rural Affairs Laura Anne Jones MS praised the organisers of this year’s Monmouthshire Show after joining thousands of visitors at the showground on Sunday.

Ms Jones said:

“It was brilliant to be back at the Monmouthshire Show and there was a fantastic atmosphere right across the showground.

“It was great to speak directly with farmers about the issues affecting them, particularly the Sustainable Farming Scheme and the recent wildfires. Those conversations on the ground are incredibly important, and I’ll continue making sure their concerns are heard.”

“A huge amount of work goes on behind the scenes to put on a show like this. Congratulations to the organisers, stewards, volunteers, exhibitors and everyone else who made the day such a success.”

Laura also spent the day meeting local farmers, producers, businesses and residents from across Monmouthshire.
