SIR,

We are a couple in the Drybridge ward who are devastated by the election loss of Mathew Davies, the Welsh Labour candidate.

He was the only person who aspired to be a representative; who knocked on our door, listened, and helped us.

I, Richard Voyce, am suffering from a form of cancer. I was told by a specialist that I couldn't receive a drug which would benefit me, solely because it is not funded in Wales. Mathew followed this up on my behalf and within 48 hours I received the forms which provide evidence that the drug would be very beneficial to me.

It is a sad loss to us that Mathew didn't win. He is genuine, helpful and sincere. I hope he keeps on fighting for services in Monmouth.

Six votes short of winning is nothing Mathew, Monmouth needs you.

Mr and Mrs Voyce

(Monmouth)
