Kaia O'Hare, who hails from Monmouth, has successfully completed the initial phase of officer training at Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth in her bid to become a warfare officer in the Royal Navy.
Twenty-two-year-old Kaia, a former pupil of Cheltenham Ladies College, joined the Royal Navy in November last year after graduating from Cambridge University where she read economics.
