Chepstow's Jenny Mcloughlin is pictured celebrating her bronze Paralympic medal with her T37 4x100m relay teammates.
The sprinter ran the fourth leg of the race last Tuesday night (4th September) to help clinch third place.
The team looked set to challenge for a gold medal until a messy handover of the baton before the final leg.
The mistake left Jenny with much to do but she came through to secure her first Paralympic medal.
The following night Jenny, who has cerebral palsy, finished fifth in the T37 200m final in a time of 30.08 seconds, behind Johanna Benson of Namibia (29.26) and Great Britain teammate Bethy Woodward (29.65).
Maria Seifert of Germany got bronze and Oksana Krechunyak of Ukraine was fourth.
Earlier in the day, Jenny had run a new personal best for the 200m of 29.73 seconds in the first round of the competition.
The previous weekend, the Commonwealth Silver medallist had set a personal best of 14.48 seconds in the 100m to reach the final, where she finished seventh.
