ST Maughans Church held a successful "Fish and Jazz" evening last month, raising more than £1,700 for the Nepal Earthquake Relief fund.

The event was hosted by Kate and Tom Pitts-Tucker in the marquee that had been erected for their daughter's wedding the day before.

The Jazz was provided by the Steven Doolan Trio and was enjoyed by more than 155 people.

The organisers would like to thank all those who were involved for their generosity, which included more than £500 of voluntary donations.
