For 16-year-old Jack Walby, the Team GMF Wyedean Forest Rally cannot come round quick enough.
The Broadwell youngster will become the youngest local ever to compete in the event in its 36 year history when he co-drives for dad Martyn in the Pinto-engined Escort.
But Jack is no stranger to the co-driving seat, having done three tarmac events last year.
He also co-drove rising Welsh star Shon Rees in a Subaru Impreza to outright victory on the Team GMF Rally Time Trial.
He also spends all his spare time preparing the Escort between rallies and servicing on events, which helped dad Martyn claim the 2010 Hankook Tyres Welsh 2wd Title.
"I'm looking forward to the Wyedean. I've been a spectator since I was eight years old," said Jack
