Kelmscott Manor, the Cotswolds home of William Morris is the destination of Monmouth History and Field Society's coach outing on Thursday 16 July. This glorious property, dating from the 16th century, displays artwork and objects owned and designed by the Father of the Arts & Crafts Movement.
They will spend the morning in the nearby town of Cirencester, famed for its Roman remains and fine architecture as well as for its shops and places to eat.
The town's Civic Society will show us the sights. To book, please email [email protected] or ring 01600 715076. Tickets are £30. Non-members are welcome.
