The final blue plaque in a 24-long trail was unveiled at the Shire Hall last Friday (14th May).
The plaque details the history of the Shire Hall, stating its original purpose and how the Chartist Trials of 1840 took place there.
The plaque is the final of its kind, in and around Monmouth, and completes the 'blue plaque trail'.
The hanging of the plaque has been delayed due to construction works on the Shire Hall, having obtained listing consent for it back in June 2009.
