UPDATE: ONE lane is closed on the M48 in both directions due to the earlier high winds.Matrix signs on the bridge are set to 40mph.HIGH winds have again caused disruption in Monmouthshire, as the Severn Bridge has been shut in both directions.

The M48 bridge was closed earlier this morning to all vehicles, between junction 1 at Aust and junction 2 at Chepstow.

The M4 bridge is unaffected, with a diversion currently taking traffic over the Second Severn Crossing.
