AS PART of their St David’s Day celebrations, Cadw will be handing out tickets for free admission to their sites.
Where usually entry fees would apply, on March 1 Tintern Abbey, Raglan Castle and Chepstow Castle - along with other Cadw sites up and down Wales - will be free for anyone who claims their tickets online.
Cadw is the group responisble for managing over 100 Welsh heritage sites - such as castles and historical monuments - as well as promoting the history surrounding them.
Tickets for their sites can be reserved in advance from cadwmembership.service.gov.wales/events

Signed up Cadw members can enjoy a 20 per cent discount off purchases at Cadw gift shops over the St David’s Day weekend (February 29 to March 2).
Additionally Cadw is also offering a 20 per cent discount on membership, which offers ’unlimited’ access to over 100 historical sites accross Wales.
