A group of lung nurses have given their own lungs a good workout by climbing almost 1,600 feet to the top of the Skirrid in Abergavenny, raising money for the British Lung Foundation.
Louise Eynon, a Monmouthshire respiratory nurse and member of the BLF Wales committee, organised the walk, which took place in the record-breaking heat of early October.
Louise was joined by some of her colleagues and their families. The youngest climbers were Ella McEwan, aged seven, and sister Bea, aged three, whose mother, Samantha is also a nurse.
