I wonder if, through your newspaper, I may make a request for help on behalf of the fund-raising committee of St Wonnow's Church.

St Wonnow's is a beautiful little church over looking the Trothy Valley and the Welsh mountains. To keep the fabric of the building shipshape and to pay the parish share we have to fund raise and that is where we need help.

We have organized quizzes, social evenings, concerts, an auction and numerous coffee mornings and, although very enjoyable, we are in need of some fresh ideas.

If you think you can help please come to our next fundraising meeting on Monday July 29th at 8pm in The Green Dragon.

We really would appreciate your company and any new ideas you feel you can share with us.
