A military helicopter has landed on Monmouth School sports grounds after apparently suffering from a "component failure".
The aircraft was flying with another, but allegedly made the emergency stop after realising there was a problem.
The chopper landed at around 11am this morning (12th March).
Dozens have flocked to the sports ground to see the impressive machine up close, many speculating at a possible Royal visit.
Chantel Berger, an employee at Monmouth School, said: "I could see it skimming the top of the trees. We had to come and see what was going on."
