I would like to take this opportunity to thank local volunteers, Sarah and Megan, for hosting the first ever Hear to Meet in Monmouth at Bridges Community Centre. Hear to Meet is a free and friendly social get-together for adults (50+) who are experiencing hearing loss. It is a chance to meet new people, share experiences and discover similar interests. Megan and Sarah worked tirelessly to promote their Hear to Meet and the hard work paid off with a successful first event.

Adults from far and wide came together to enjoy a fingerspelling taster, a quiz and laughs a plenty at the first event. The next Hear to Meet will again be hosted by Megan and Sarah and will happen on the last Wednesday of the month (29th August) from 1pm to 3pm.
