A budding Monmouth lingerie designer has been witnessing the production of her first collection.

Hannah Thomas of Lydart has been taking part in a two-week placement with LF Intimates, which looks after lingerie brands Charnos and Lepel.

The 21-year-old won the placement when Charnos ran a competition in conjunction with De Monfort University, at which Hannah is a student, to design an autumn/ winter 2012 glamour shapewear capsule collection to compliment one of its larger ranges.

Hannah produced a shapewear collection called 'A Girl's Best Friend', which was commended for its 'beautiful fit, finessed finish and superb attention to detail'.

As a reward, Hannah was given a placement at the lingerie designers to see her collection be developed and made production-ready, which began on Monday 16th May.
