A HABERDASHERS’ Monmouth student has celebrated success after competing in recent swimming competitions.

Evie Hall competed in the Scottish Summer Nationals swimming in six of her nine qualifying events in the 12/12- year age category, being one of the youngest competing as she only turned 12 last month.

During this she performed well and achieved some fantastic results in some log/tough events.

She won silver medals in the 200m Freestyle, 400m Freestyle, and 400m Individual Medley, along with bronze medals in the 200m Individual Medley and 800m Freestyle. Evie also qualified for the 100m Freestyle final, where she finished an impressive 8th place.

“Evie achieved some fabulous, personal best times throughout the competition. She gave absolutely everything in each of her events, demonstrating tremendous determination, commitment, and resilience,” said Evie’s mum, Claire.

“We are incredibly proud of all that she has achieved and the hard work she continues to put into her swimming.”
