A very reasonable start to the season considering the week was dominated by cold blustery winds.
Fish were mainly seen feeding during the latter part of the day but most catches were taken with sinking and intermediate lines. R.Elms five fish-10lb 13oz; M.Roberts five fish-11lb 12oz including one at 3lb 4oz; K.Pascoe five fish-11lb; L.Holvey two fish-4lb 10oz; M.Reed three fish-5lb 14oz; Peter Dent three fish-6b 3oz, all taken on a diawl bach with an intermediate line; C.Daniels five fish-11lb.
The following visitors also enjoyed some good sport including A.Leslie four fish-11lb including one at 3lb; R.Lyons five fish-11lb 13oz; J.Howells 5 fish-11lb; C.Harding two fish-5lb best fish 3lb and D.Purcell two fish-4lb.
Several used "boobies" as fish were well down but fish also fell to patterns such as orange fritz, buzzers and cats whiskers.
Five boats are now available and details of which are displayed on the notice board. The hot spots were the tump and north bank
