USK Nursery received an early Christmas present from Estyn last Wednesday (17th December) who found the establishment to be 'good'.

Estyn found the nursery to have a warm and caring ethos where "all children are respected as individuals."

Staff were said to work well together and teaching was found to be of a consistently good

standard.

The nursery was recommended to further develop the use of Welsh and encourage children to use new words and phrases.

Alison Janik and Jan Henstridge from the nursery, said: "We are thrilled with the Estyn report. We are very lucky to have such hard working and dedicated staff.

"We will continue to provide a caring, happy and stimulating environment for the children to learn in."
