EMILY Tandy and Ceri Jones are both nearing international rugby honours having been invited to train with the u19 Welsh squad.
Emily left Monmouth Comprehensive School last summer to begin a Sports Science degree course and Ceri is currently in the Upper Sixth completing her A level studies.
The School has yet to produce a female rugby cap and is very hopeful that this season will bring a sporting breakthrough.
Both girls are from Penallt. Ceri plays outside half and Emily plays scrum half.
