Monmouth Netball Club's first team gained promotion last season to Division One of the South East Wales Netball League after playing just one season in Division Two.
They have had a fantastic start to the new season – they have played three games without a loss and are top of the league.
Their first game of the season was against Atlanta A on 27th September, which they easily won 51-30, then on 4th October they beat Newbridge B 47-32 and on 11th October they played Blackwood B winning 40-34.
The win against Blackwood was the most difficult of the three as they were missing key players after Lisa English injured herself during the Newbridge game and Mandy Davies was not available. Captain Emma King said none of the games have been easy.
