A PUBLIC MEETING to discuss the future of the Babington Centre in Trellech will take place on 12th April.
The meeting is being organised by the Trellech United Community Council.
The Babington Centre is owned by the Babington Trust charity and is a venue for the local community to enjoy
However, except for use in the morning during school term times by Busy Bodies Play Group, the centre is not being used sufficiently to allow it to be financially viable, and many of the organised social events have not been adequately attended.
The purpose of the public meeting is to discuss the future of the centre and to gain suggestions for fundraising events, interest from local residents who may wish to become trustees, and general public support.
