Those who attended the opening days of Monmouth Festival are likely have had a weekend to remember.
Whether you are at the festival every year, or like me this is your first visit, you would not have had to look far to find something that you enjoyed. The majority of people that I have spoken to at the festival are from Monmouth and the surrounding areas and already have the festival firmly set in their diaries from the start of the year. However, some spectators who have travelled a bit further afield are visiting for the first time out of curiosity and therefore admit to not knowing quite what to expect! Well with such a spectacular display of organisation, a warm welcoming and an array of talented entertainment it is clear that Monmouth has done itself proud, and a lot of these first timers have quickly become loyal fans.
