SIR,
On a recent visit to Abergavenny I could not help but notice that the price of fuel was £1.39 for diesel and £1.34 for petrol at BP, Esso and Waitrose, but in Raglan and Monmouth it's £1.47 for diesel and £1.44 for petrol.
So are Shell and Gulf just taking the people of Monmouth and Raglan for a very expensive ride?
Just think the next time you fill up in Raglan or Monmouth that 10 to 15 minutes away they are paying a lot less than you.
I wonder if this is price fixing or just unlucky for the people of Raglan and Monmouth. After all, BP and Esso would not be selling at a loss, or would they? I think not.
