Ford join with a 2 litre 4WD entry
The 2010 Team GMF Wyedean Forest Rally will hopefully see the all new Ford Fiesta S2000 acting as course car.
Ford is the latest to join the ever growing band of manufacturers to build a S2000 machine which has a two-litre, normally aspirated engine and four-wheel drive.
Unfortunately, the Wyedean clashes with the opening round of the World Rally Championship in Sweden. It was hoped Matthew Wilson would have driven a S2000 Fiesta in the Wyedean event, but now young Irish star Craig Breen will drive his privately run car.
"There are a few things to sort out, but I hope that we will have a S2000 Fiesta here come February. Craig is a massive talent with a big future ahead of him", said event chairman Paul Willetts.
Entries are already flying in for the event on 13th February.
