Ross Town Reserves recorded their biggest win of the season on Saturday, March 22nd, with a 6 - 0 victory over Civil Service. Ross playing against a strong wind in the first half played some good passing football. Ross took the lead midway through the first half through striker J Halfpenny. Only two excellent saves from keeper Andy James kept Towns lead intact untill half time. In the first ten minutes of the second half, the game was almost over. Halfpenny added to his first half goal with three quick fire strikes, which deflated the away side who struggled with his pace all afternoon. Ross were now full of confidence and almost attacked at will with the defence of Dearie ,Phillips and Lewis mopping up any rare attacks from service. Ross continued to play good flowing football and created numerous chances with C.Morgan crashing the bar with a free kick. Halfpenny again broke away from the service defence to score his fifth of the afternoon. With ten minutes to go D.Stewart scored the sixth and final goal. The Edmo Ltd.
