FATHER Christmas is getting ready to visit many parts of Monmouth through December and he will be busier than ever with all the new houses.
With the help of the Monmouth Rotary elves he has spent many hours getting his sleigh ready to bring happiness to the people of Monmouth while collecting funds to support local charities.
On Friday 8th will be at Shire Hall at 5.30pm waiting for the lantern parade to finish. On Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th outside Coffee1 in Monnow Street all day and then from Tuesday 19th to Thursday 21st he will be at his grotto in the Bridges Shop on Monnow Street from 2.30pm to 5pm.
With the help of the Monmouth Champions who will be supporting Father Christmas on Thursday 14th, he will be able to visit more areas of Monmouth than ever.
He will visit each of the following areas from 6pm to 8pm (weather dependant) so be quick to get out and see him.
On Thursday 14th he will be in Kingswood, on Friday 15th he will visit Overmonnow and Old Rockfield. On Monday 18th he will visit Osbaston followed by New Rockfield on Tuesday 19th and Wyesham on Wednesday 20th.
Finally he will visit Lower Rockfield on Thursday 21st and the link road estates on Friday 22nd.
Last year, Monmouth Rotary raised almost £2,500 from the Christmas activities, which enabled it to support a number of local charities.
