It’s that time of year again when the Far Open Art Trail opens 5th-13th July, and provides an insight into the creative activity in Monmouth and surrounding area.

Over 60 venues demonstrate the diversity of visual art to be found over an area stretching from Newnham to Upton Bishop and from Monmouth to Mayhill and lots of venues in between. There are 2 venues in Monmouth, conveniently close to one another on Highfield Close and Oakfield Road, both just off the Hereford Road. Frances Green is showing botanicals, icons, landscapes and a large collection of greetings cards at Venue 14 and at Venue 6, five artists will be showing their work including paintings, ceramics and glass.
