To celebrate World Book Day and support the local community and the importance of education through reading, a Monmouth estate agent teamed up with primary schools for a chance to win our competition.

The team at David James asked pupils between the ages of 7 and 9 to draw their dream house or the house their favourite book character may live in.

They could be as creative and as fun as they like. The prize up for grabs was World Book Day tokens for the individuals and their school, and for their drawings to be displayed in their Monmouth office window for a whole week for all their family and friends to see.

The estate agent received a large amount of entries and were absolutely blown away by the creativity and hard work that had been put in by the pupils. A fun afternoon was spent immersing themselves in the imaginative homes that had been created and the clever reasoning behind each drawing.

Chloe Rutsch (Sales Manager) and Kevin Bushell (Lettings Manager) presented World Book Day vouchers to the four winners and Osbaston Church in Wales Primary School for participating.

They were so incredibly impressed by all the entries, they decided that all eight shortlisted entries should be featured in their office window.

They want to thank everyone who voted for their favourites on their Facebook Page and hope that everyone with come and take a look at the display in their new office window in Monnow
Street.
