As part of the Welsh Coast Path event in Chepstow, Lower Wye Ramblers are offering an easy 5.5-mile walk from Rogiet Countryside Park car park, close to Severn Tunnel Railway Station (Grid reference: ST460874; Nearest postcode: NP26 3WF), starting at 1 pm on Monday 27 March.

From the car park, the route heads south, then joins the Welsh Coast Path and heads west along the sea wall to Chapel Farm before returning along the lanes and footpaths of Caldicot Moor.

A spokesman said: “The area is great for birdlife, so fingers crossed we may see something interesting. All walkers are welcome, but those who are not members of the Ramblers take part at their own risk.”
