Flood warnings and alerts issues for Monmouth

Monmouth and surrounding areas are still under flood alerts, with one area being upgraded to a warning.

At midday, the level at Ross-on-Wye was 4.7 metres and steady. The current level is expected to be the peak at this location. The level at Monmouth was 5 metres and rising. A peak level of between 5.4 and 5.8 metres is expected to occur this evening. The rowing club underpass gates have been closed. The level at Grosmont was 0.9 metres and steady. A peak level of 3 metres occurred at 9.30pm on Sunday.
