Monmouth Music Theatre (MMT) is pleased to announce that it’s Spring show will be the ever popular musical Calamity Jane which will be performed at the Savoy Theatre, Monmouth from 22 – 25 April 2026.

The show centres on the wild west legends Calamity Jane and Wild Bill Hickock who lived in the frontier town of Deadwood , Dakota at the end of the 19th century.

The show features many well known songs including Secret Love, Windy City and the Black Hills of Dakota.

This is a fun show and we’re looking for people to join us in principal and chorus parts.

Could you see yourself in this show? A lot of fun is guaranteed! Our first get together will be at 7.30pm on Wednesday 20 August at the Methodist Church Hall, St James Street, NP25 3DL when we will start learning the music and go over the plot.
