MONMOUTH Raft Race is back for another year of competitive fun, community spirit and team building.

The event is being held on Sunday September 6, and this will be the 59th raft race. Starting at midday at Monmouth Rowing Club teams will paddle 6.5 miles down the River Wye to finish at Tump Farm in Whitebrook.

Once competitors finish the race their will be a family festival at Tump Farm to celebrate.

All proceedings will go towards St David’s Hospice Care, Monmouth Rotary Club and Severn Area Rescue Association.

This is an opportunity for businesses to come together and take part in a team building exercise.
