On Sunday December 7th the town will be full of Santas, Elves, Reindeer and Christmas trees as they gather for the annual Monmouth Santa Fun Run, which starts at 10 am. Start delving into your cupboards now to find your costume!
The event starts at 10.00 am and follows a course of 1.5km, which will be different this year, due to closure of the Vauxhall/Inglis bridge.
Gather at Monnow Bridge, where registration will take place between 8.45 and 9.45 am. Entry costs £8 adult, £4 under 16, £22 family, cash only, and all entry fees will be donated to this year’s charity, Bridges QB project – providing fun activities for children with additional needs. All participants will receive a medal and a sweet treat. Hot drinks and mince pies will be on sale at the Sports Pavilion in aid of Monmouth Football Club.
Prizes will be awarded to the best dressed boy, girl, man, woman and dog (on a lead).
Please bring your own water – there are water fountains nearby to refill.
If you would like to complete the registration form in advance, you can find it on the Monmouth Santa Fun Run Facebook page.
