A British cult hero, known as the ‘Godfather of Punk Poetry’ and the original people’s poet is appearing at The Blake Theatre this month.

From creating some of the most iconic poetry of the modern era, including the world’s most popular wedding poem “I Wanna Be Yours” to sharing his life story through his bestselling memoir of the same name. John’s poetry features in the UK national curriculum syllabus.

Literary phenomenon John Cooper Clarke is playing at The Blake Theatre on Thursday 30th April. Doors at 6.45pm, show start time at 7.30pm.
