At 7.30 pm on Friday 24th March the town’s fabulous male voice choir will be in concert at Monmouth’s Bridges Community Centre. The choir are hoping for a sell out audience as the evening of song is intended to raise funds for both the community centre and Velindre Cancer Hospital.

During the evening Monmouth Male Voice Choir will be supported by The Isca Singers, enthusiastic young musicians based in South Wales. This group of young vocalists have been performing together for a number of years and while offering an eclectic mix of music, specialise in songs from stage and screen. After their highly acclaimed recent concert held at Winfield House, the choir are keen to give their local supporters another evening to remember. In just ten years this choir, under the leadership of Musical Director Lewis Hutton, has grown to over 70 members and become one of the foremost choral groups of its type in South Wales. Their story has been truly amazing, with performances at the Royal Albert Hall, St David’s

Centre Cardiff, the Principality Stadium and the National Eisteddfod. All profits from the event will be split 50/50 between Bridges Centre, the local hub for so many uplifting, friendly support groups and Velindre Cancer Hospital in Cardiff, the cancer care centre that helps many suffers from across Monmouthshire.

Tickets for the evening are available from Bridges Centre or online at www.monmvc.org.uk/events
