OVERMONNOW Primary School have proudly introduced a top table to their dining experience.

The school council have been keen to improve their lunch time and as a result, trays have been exchanged for plates. Children can now choose where they sit, while listening to music.

Every week pupils from each class are selected to receive the privilege of a Golden Ticket. This earns them the opportunity to enjoy their lunch on a decorated top table. The table has goblets, flowers and even the luxury of after dinner mints.

The changes have been enjoyed by all and both the children and staff have recognised the benefits and been enthused by them. Rosie Bennett, a Year 2 pupil who received one of the tickets said: “I feel like royalty!”
