Pill Harriers from Newport, were the last minute opposition for Monmouth Druids as the original opponents Newport Saracens cried off. Chippenham Mead was bathed in sunshine as the game commenced watched mainly by the loyal small band of Druids supporters.
An entertaining game and 34-7 win was well earned and owed much to forward supremacy which the backs took full advantage. Man of the match was Outside Half Adam Roberts whilst Dewi Lane ran strongly and Gareth Jones try scoring form continues.
