The Autumn internationals plus the inclement weather has limited the rugby matches played by Monmouth Druids of late but the latest visitors, Usk, brought better luck. Both sides' playing records this season could be bettered and Usk in particular have had injury problems.
Play from the kick off saw the Druids forwards having slight dominance and at the lineout Andy Howells won useful ball. At the scrum they regularly drove the Usk Eight backwards making clean possession very difficult.
