Beacon reader Chris Smith sent in this picture of a car outside a Co-operative store in the Forest of Dean.

Chris wondered whether the car was part of a 'trial' for drive-in supermarkets.

He said: "Among many planning applications you can see that supermarkets are trying to not only strengthen market share, but to be the most innovative and inventive in attracting custom.

"The rumoured 24 hour drive-in shopping experience has been taken another step closer.

"It seems some customers are already keen to be involved in initial trials.

"Although no-one was hurt in this trial, customers are being warned to be vigilant about their attraction to drive-in shopping."
