A DONATION of almost £800 has been made to the Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA) after May’s Devauden Races.

Tessa Legg and her family made the donation of £775.80 to SARA station chairman Ian Roberts on behalf of the Hood Memorial Hall in the village. This was following the successful Devauden Races on 1st May where SARA provided safety and first aid cover.  

Chairman Ian Roberts, pictured, said: “It is always a pleasure to work with the team at Devauden and we are very grateful that they can support our search and rescue work in this way.”
