SIR,

I write to express my concern about our local cemetery being used by people from Osbaston as a playground, walking and fouling area for their dogs.

Don't these selfish-minded people have any respect at all, letting their dogs roam off leads to desecrate our loved ones' graves?

The culprits know who they are – the owners of two spaniels, one white dog with a black patch on one eye and a Scottie dog.

This is not an isolated case as they have been seen many times in the cemetery.

I have been in contact with the council concerning this matter, they have assured me signs will be put in order.

Have a thought for our cemetery groundsmen who do their best with the grass cutting and strimming to keep our cemetery tidy at all times, only then to be rewarded with flying dog faeces.
