SIR,
Going through some old papers of my stepfather's I have found a pen and ink drawing (original) of Monnow Bridge (pictured).
It looks like a fairly amateur attempt as the view through the bridge is out of proportion.
It is signed Lewis J Rogers.
To my knowledge there was no-one of that name in our family.
I do recall a Rogers family in Monmouth who used to run a fish and chip shop who we were friendly with, but I don't recall a Lewis.
Before I throw it out I wondered if there was anyone in Monmouth who is/ was related to this person and would like the original.
