Monmouth School Catering Department finally decided to play ball for charity, and donned their best strip to challenge the boarders in a friendly rugby match.Ginny Muir (holding the ball) coaxed the ladies into raising money for the BC Cancer Foundation, Melanoma Fund and persuaded the Boarders XV, captained by Simon Cope, to take on the "Dinner ladies" at their own game. "Fortunately" said Ginny, " the referee was extremely good to us and we managed to finish winners by 19-17". Nearly £1000 was raised and Ginny wanted to thank all those who supported and sponsored them in their finest hour.
