Although the majority of members of the public are aware of the number, some may not always be dialling the correct prefix of 01633. Chief Inspector Jo Bull, Communications Suite, Gwent Police said: "We have been very proactive in publicising the number of 01633 838111 and we are confident that most people are aware of it but we have been made aware that a few people are dialling the number without the correct prefix. "
