Last weekend David Fryer walked Ben Nevis for charity. Thank you to all those who generously supported him.

Thanks must also go to the Monmouthshire Beacon for their support.

The amount raised from relatives, friends and colleagues of Tom and Dawn was £507.

The money goes to support the children's cancer ward in Yorkhill Hospital in Glasgow.

David travelled to Fort William last Friday (15th July), walked Ben Nevis on Saturday and drove home to Caerleon on Sunday.

In total, the amount raised by the Fryer family was just over £1,000.
