SIR,

Regarding the Llandogo housing list.

Hayley Morgan has been a Monmouthshire Housing Association tenant for eight and a half years. It is good she has a two-bedroom flat.

My daughter, who has spent all her life – 23 years – in the Trelleck United area, has been on the housing list for five years and still has no house for her to live in.

She lives with my wife and myself (disabled) with her four-year-old daughter.

Her daughter goes to Llandogo school and she works part time in the Sloop Inn, as she does not drive.

She is not the only young lady in Llandogo village, we know of two others who are living with family members and their children.

They are not even guaranteed a house. My daughter is fourth on the list and one of the others is second.

Now does Hayley Morgan still think she should get one of the new houses? At least she has a place of her own to live in.
