A MONMOUTH couple have completed a 100-mile bike ride to raise cash for charity.
Ben Lewis and Fiona Hunter Johnston cycled a 101-mile trail through the Forest of Dean, starting at 6.45am and finishing at 9.10pm at night.
The journey raised £1,010.35 for Help for Heroes.
At the end of the epic ride, which featured a fair amount of rain, the pair were covered in mud but proud of their acheivement.
Ben, who is 19, and 20-year-old Fiona said: "Thanks to everyone who sponsored us, Lorna Warmington-Gardner and Kate Mortimer for being our support crew, and Ashley Tobin and James Hunter Johnston for saving the day with their gear cables.
"Also, a big thanks to everyone who came to support us on the day."
