DAMAGE estimated at £850 was caused when garages were broken into at Charles Road, Dingestow, last week.

JCB stolen

A JCB excavator worth £26,000 was stolen while it was parked at King Henry V Drive, Monmouth, last week.

Wing mirrors damaged

A NUMBER of wing mirrors were damaged while cars were parked in Monnow Street, Monmouth, last week. Police believe the damage was accidental rather than malicious.

Goods stolen

TWO women and a child left a Monmouth shop without paying for a trolley full of goods on Saturday evening. The group made off in a mauve coloured Volkswagen van. Police inquiries are continuing into the theft of the goods valued at more than £100.

Vehicles damaged

SEVERAL vehicles parked at a farm in Tregare were entered and damaged at the weekend. A paving slab was thrown through the windows.

Money taken from till

MONMOUTH Police are hunting a man who snatched money from a till at Woolworths in the town at the weekend.

The man was described as in his early 20s, with fair hair and about 5'5" tall, wearing an orange bomber jacket.
