MONMOUTH Cricket Club will be looking to lay the foundations for next season at their annual general meeting and presentation evening later this month.

 The club finished sixth in Division 2 of the Crusader Worcestershire County League -  just 11 points adrift of third-placed Malvern, who have been granted promotion.

 Monmouth will want to strengthen their committee and particularly need new volunteers to help Jon Despontin with the running of the club's junior sides.

 The evening, in the pavilion at Monmouth Sports Ground, gets underway on Friday, November 28 at 7pm.
