Boots has refurbished its Monmouth store and completed major upgrades to its health, beauty and wellness offering and Deputy Mayor, Cllr Rob Barrell helped them relaunch the store
Boots Monmouth has been redesigned to create an improved shopping experience with a refreshed layout and enhanced in-store services.
Following the flooding, it retained a full dispensing service, and continued to support its customers with a more limited offering during the refurbishment.
An additional, larger consultation room has been added to the store, enabling more customers to access vital healthcare services on the high street – from support with common ailments to flu vaccinations and access to our independent prescribing pharmacist.
Beauty fans looking to expand their collection are also in luck, with access to brands including L’Oreal, Max Factor, Elf, No7, and Boots own brand ranges.
Gemma Ramsey, Area Manager, Boots Monmouth, said: “We have been so grateful for our customers’ support after the impact of the flood in November and we are delighted to welcome customers to their new and improved Boots.
“Our modernised and extended healthcare space is designed to help our customers through every stage of life. The refit also offers a new and improved pharmacy consultation room, meaning the store can offer an Independent Prescribing service, as well as all NHS services including the Common Ailments Service, flu vaccinations, Discharge Medicine Reviews, and support with contraception. Customers can also recycle their inhalers with us and access cancer support through our trained Boots Macmillan Information Pharmacist.”
The store is home to a range of health and beauty experts, with a team of Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, and Dispensers on hand.
The Boots Monmouth store is open Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm, Saturday 9:30 – 5:00 and 10am – 4pm on Sundays, and the store can be found at 60 Monnow St, Monmouth NP25 3EN.
